I want to help you navigate these challenges and find sustainable solutions so that you can heal, feel good, and be your best self.
I ascribe to systemic therapy approaches, including Family Systems and Narrative Therapy. I welcome the opportunity to serve you in understanding your purpose and life's meaning while overcoming depression, anxiety, infidelity, sexual trauma, anger, parenting problems, and other challenges.

Meet Dr. Tonya Allen, MSW, LICSW
Therapist / Educator Tonya earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Minnesota.
In addition to several education certificates, Tonya earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Tonya has worked within the field of education and social work for over 25 years. Tonya is passionate about supporting the needs of individuals with a strengths-based lens.
Meet Evelyn Mutebi, MA
Counselor Life can come with many complexities, and sometimes those complications impede our lives, impacting thoughts, emotions, behaviors, daily functioning, and living. Desiring healthier mental, emotional, and social functioning to improve ideas, feelings, behaviors, and overall quality of life may require additional help.
My approach to counseling is holistic, considering all aspects of a person's life. I ascribe to IFS, EFIT, Psycho-dynamic, CBT, and sometimes SFT. I integrate faith & spirituality as appropriate. These approaches help you overcome challenges with; depression, anxiety, complex trauma, dissociation, abuse, boundaries, and general relationship issues.

Meet Catherine Sy
Multilingual - English, Spanish, French and Creole / Prelicensed Therapist Catherine is finishing her master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University. She worked as a CPA for KPMG, and then focused on raising her 6 children, lately as a single parent. Catherine is familiar with managing the Serious and Persistent Mental illnesses of close relatives.
She is passionate about helping her clients get to the other side of turbulent events like divorce and other major unexpected life changes. Catherine welcomes the exploration of her client’s faith as they tackle seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Catherine is fluent in French, Creole, and English
Meet Lucreshia Grant
Prelicensed Therapist Lucreshia is warm, caring and open-minded. Working in the field four years now, she can help individuals, couples and families with a variety of issues, from basic communication trouble to deep healing and betrayal recovery. She comes with extensive training in Gottman principles, Atkinson, emotionally focused therapy and sex therapy. She helps people dealing with past trauma, addiction issues and situational violence come to a healthier space in their loving relationship. She specializes in working closely with interracial couples as well. Lucreshia has a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Marriage and Family Therapy and a bachelor’s degree from Augsburg University in Sociology.
Meet Janet Tarr
Prelicensed Therapist I am currently pursuing my master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan University in Minnesota, majoring in Human Services. During my undergraduate journey, I worked with youths struggling with substance use addiction and delinquent behaviors by providing coordinated services to youths and their families through a wraparound approach. I also worked with children in school settings dealing with academic and socioeconomic challenges by providing comprehensive support to students and their families.
With a focus on family, individual, and couple dynamics, I am committed to helping clients, navigating challenges, improving communication, and strengthening relationships. I aim to provide clients with a safe and supportive environment to explore their concerns. Through a person-centered and strength-based approach, I strive to empower clients to gain insight, build resilience, and make positive life changes.
Meet Elizabeth Conley
Prelicensed Therapist Elizabeth is in the process of completing her Master’s degree at Capella University In Marriage Family Therapy. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Metropolitan State University located in Saint Paul, MN. She has several years of experience working in community-based, non-profit and educational settings. She enjoyed connecting populations from diverse backgrounds to obtain needed services to help on the path of self-sufficiency. In turn, Elizabeth is an AmeriCorp alumni who served communities with barriers by meeting families where they are on their journey. She is passionate about utilizing a strength-based and person-centered approach to ensure that everyone's needs are being met. In addition, she values the importance of establishing and maintaining a sense of community, respect and rapport within the therapeutic process.
Meet Toyee Wheaton
Prelicensed Therapist Toyee's pursuit of her master's in marriage and family at Capella University, coupled with her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Chamberlain University in Illinois, underscores her commitment to continuous learning and her solid foundation in the mental health field.
Throughout her extensive twenty-one years of healthcare experience, Toyee has served in diverse roles, adeptly aiding individuals battling mental health issues and substance abuse. She employs a person-centered approach, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy to guide individuals and couples toward resolving their issues and effecting positive changes in their lives. Her care is characterized by empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity, with a strong focus on family-centered care. Her ultimate goal is to equip couples and families with the tools to harness their strengths and resources in navigating their lives.
Meet Donovan Robinson
Prelicensed Therapist I am finishing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. I earned an associate's degree from Lackawanna College for Business Studies and a bachelor's degree from Merrimack College in Applied Arts and Sciences: Psychology.
During my time as an undergraduate student, I was introduced to new atmospheres, challenges, and fears that forced me to adapt to many changes in my life. I learned a lot about myself as a student and a human being. Empowering and motivating individuals was my calling. My main focus is to get clients to reach MAXIMUM potential.

Meet Shakara Taylor
Prelicensed Therapist Shakara is working on completing her master's in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University. She earned a bachelor's degree from the illustrious University of South Carolina, where she majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology.
During her tenure as an undergraduate student, Shakara was introduced to various populations that ultimately fostered her desire to empower others to face, overcome, and adapt to the many challenges we face in life. Shakara has worked in the non-profit sector for over 10 years, providing case management services to children, teens, adults, individuals, couples, and families, in numerous settings.
Though her studies are centered around systemic approaches, Shakara is very person-centered and genuinely believes in meeting clients where they are and separating the person from “the problem.” In her spare time, you can find Shakara enjoying walks with her husband and dog, spending time with family and friends, or bringing her Pinterest boards to life.
